Last year we were thrilled to be awarded a commission to create a work that honours the legacy of the Lions Club of Devonport for their 60 years of service to the community.

This sculpture is an expression of many different people coming together for a common cause and the consequential dynamism of their collective actions resulting in something much larger and impactful than any one individual's.

"Community' was inaugurated by Devonport City Council - Mayor Alison Jarman yesterday in Haines Waterfront Park, Devonport Tasmania.

Sincere thanks to the members of the Lions Club for entrusting us with this project close to their hearts.

A big shout out to Tony and his team, especially Mark, at Associated Welding & Profile Cutting pty ltd for such a wonderful job transforming our design into reality, Wayne from Northern Tilt Tray for his great help transporting it from Launceston, and Banfield Concrete Solutions for the slab...And the invaluable support of Geoff Dobson and Jeff Sharman at Devonport City Council throughout the project and especially for the installation.

Our latest public art work is now visible at Tas TAFE Burnie Agricultural Training Centre of Excellence at Freer Farm, Burnie , designed by PhilpLighton Architects, which was offically opened today.

Big shout out to Andy at Unique earth for following our ideas for the layering of the rammed earth wall, and his patience in imprinting our shapes during its construction, Jo at Hydrowood for the beautiful Tas oak, Luke and Kath in the architecture worskshop at University of Tasmania for the CNC services, and Glasgow Engineering for the metalwork. AND Todd and team at Todd Rogers Signs for a great print job and installation of our graphic work.
