Last week to visit Taste of Inspiration 🌻💙

This Saturday, 13 June, is the final day to experience my exhibition Taste of Inspiration at Moonah Arts Centre.

If you haven’t visited yet, I warmly invite you to come and explore this gentle space of colour, Ukrainian folk art, stories, birdsong, and connection.

This exhibition brings together my Samchykivka-inspired artworks and the Rising Swallow collection — works by Ukrainian artists created with the spirit of hope, resilience, and beauty.

🌻Stories living inside a flower. Inside a bird in flight. Inside a single brushstroke of Ukrainian folk art.

Saturday in Hobart, Tasmania, we gathered at   to talk about hidden stories in Samchykivka art.

We explored Samchykivka painting — a rare Ukrainian folk art from the village of Samchyky — and discovered how this visual language travels across borders and finds new life in lutruwita / Tasmania.

So grateful that WIN News Tasmania - Alex Johnston visited my Samchykivka art workshop and shared the story of Taste of Inspiration and our 26 Ukrainian artists at Moonah Arts Centre with the whole Tasmanian community 💙
