We were awarded the recoating of the Ephraim island bridge, this bridge we coated 16 years ago so it was long over due for some love..

We were responsible for coating everything from lights to piers and for all access and transport management

Job was completed August 21 using Wattyl products.

Quick visit to site and as usual the boys are killing it..

Using our new automated machine the potential for back breaking manual labour injuries has been eliminated as well as having to try and do such a job in the 40-55 degree Pilbara heat would be a recipe for a number of heat stress victims....

Not only can this small crew of 12 achieve the production of a 30man crew they are doing it with ease and repeatable quality.

Keep up the great work guys your great quality safety and production are second to none in the pipeline coating

Well it was a busy end to 2019 and seems like this year is going just as quick as we are over half way through January..

We sprayed some polibrid 705 on a couple of tanks heading for a coal mine.

I flew to canada for a qualification trial with our Canadian partners for automated field joint coating

The boys have been hard at it for Santos in SA and SW queensland getting great results and feed back from the client for the past 5 months

As usual there was heaps of pipeline work for APA Group

Completed a tank for logan city council

Assisted pensar with a tank at gatton

And my last job for 2019 was back at tennant creek. Just cant seem to stay away from that place been there every year for the last 3 years

Still completing onsite works at the airport for the past 2.5 months

And finally it was my parents 60th wedding anniversary, why is this work related? Dad (kev sharman) was the founder of QIC back in 1993..

Another little water pipeline at stone's corner we were required to fix.. this pipe is a major supply (and only supply) to a number of suburbs and before blasting we knew there may be some problems.. after blasting and NDT there were a number of areas which we blew through due to the amount of rust and some where steel thickness was less then 20% remaining. We were responsible to getting all leaks fixed using our close friends at ASME..

Earlier in the year we completed APA agnew gas pipeline on behalf of McConnell Dowell. 6" 25km.. being only a very small pipeline our larger main line rigs missed out on this adventure to WA

another pipeline almost complete in Australia. mainline coating all but complete and tie-ins to be completed in the coming month.. this is a 34km 20" Gas pipeline in western Queensland..
