I’m an art teacher so I was doing some experimenting today with contact and tried a contact transfer for the first time. It was actually pretty simple but you cannot use inkjet printer copies as the ink won’t transfer. This worked pretty well and now I have a Bluey transfer I can put on my son’s window.

Over night, 23 trees planted by volunteers of the friends of Blackwood forest were cut down. These are trees planted 3 years ago to improve the forest area for our community. To help out this wonderful group, I will donated 100% of all Archie stickers to the Friends of Blackwood forest. They are available Lemon fizz behind Drakes until the 18th Jan.

I just saw that 23 trees that the Friends of Blackwood Forest planted have been chopped down overnight. This is terrible. I will be donating all proceeds of the Gnomes of Blackwood sticker “Archie” to help the volunteers of this wonderful group. You can find the sticker at Lemon Fizz Collective Blackwood and I will reprint more in the next few hours so I have some special holographic ones on sale. They are $5, waterproof and can go on water bottles, cars and lunch boxes.

I usually only post my art stuff but today here is a cleaning video because this is what the Instagram algorithm demands. This is my son’s desk. It had 2 years worth of sticky tape stuck on it and needs a clean. I love his creativity but he is messier than me when it comes to keep a tidy working space. He needed a clean start as he is starting school this year so I wanted to surprise him with a clean work area. I hope he keeps creating :)

My work is leaving Lemon Fizz Blackwood from the 18th January. I will re gather and return mid July with new ideas.
(I just realised my previous post made it sound like the whole store was closing but NO it’s just my work leaving. Erggh social media is difficult 🫠)
