Music people: There are a growing number of really awesome posts detailing all the live music events and gigs around this region!
Its wonderful to see the amount of activity but unless YOU get out and support it by going and putting your bum on a seat.....it won't translate.
Artists deserve to make a living from their chosen talents and career path, and communities benefit from that effort with glorious choices to attend live gigs.
Please remember to support a gig at least once a month!
If its your local pub, it won't cost you anything but remember pubs are large and make back their investment very quickly on the bar and bistro sales.
Look out for the other small venues offering ticketed event because if a majority of the thousands here in the Hawkesbury bought a ticket to just one event a YEAR, we could keep those venues alive and make sure a musician gets paid fairly.

It's ON this Wednesday! The Hearts: Hawkesbury Arts Alliance Open Mic Night is a wonderful opportunity for local emerging and established players to come along and have a go with the House Band.
Showcase your talent, share your music, try out your compositions, its all ages and stages - perfect for HSC students to get a feel for an audience and try out playing with a proper live band 🙂
It all kicks off at 7.30pm downstairs at Richmond Club who are the good sponsors of this event held on the last Wednesday of each month.
Come and support live music, and if you want to have a go please bring your sheet music - LEAD SHEETS, not piano music because thats too many pages for musicians to have to flip while playing, M'Kay?😎
