Creative Galah has launched the second year of the Leila Waddell Concert Series but exactly who was she? The Conversation Australia + NZ has done the research and published a story about this incredible talent from Bathurst.

The Leila Waddell Concert Series for 2026 has been announced and is on sale now. Visit https://www.creativegalah.com.au/events to find out all about the Partridge String Quartet performing in March, the Streeton Trio performing in July, and in November to finish the series we welcome Estampa to the stage.

Performances are all in Bathurst and are presented in association with Musica Viva Australia with support from Create NSW and Creative Australia and the generosity of Central West donors.

Just over a week until the Central West tour of Laments & Lullabies featuring four incredible musicians - Heather Lloyd on Viola, Countertenor Michael Burden, James Larsen on Cello and Baroque Harpist Hannah Lane. Together they will perform a beautiful program of Baroque and Renaissance music at three very different venues around the region.
