RECAP on Saturday's Members Day sponsored by Smart Self Cleaning Pools 🤙

We had ten competitors hit the track, a few new faces come out for a looksie, and one rather decent bingle into one of the tyre walls. In a way, the photos from that moment 👇 are a pretty good reminder of exactly why those tyre barriers are there. Safety first, always! 🏁

The results are in, with Pete McPhee taking out the outright position 👏 Congrats mate and to everyone who got out there and gave it a crack.

Special thanks again to Smart Self Cleaning Pools, one of our 2026 gold sponsors, for supporting WSCC and allowing us to proudly name this Members Day in your honour. Unfortunately, the team couldn't join us trackside this time, but their support is very much appreciated and helps us continue doing what we love - keeping grassroots motorsport alive and kicking.... up the dust!

Thanks to everyone who came along, competed, helped out or supported from the sidelines.

Not long till the next race day 🚗💨

The grounds are ready and the amenities will be cleaned and restocked prior to the Karting event next weekend.

Getting Tonker Park Ready for our neighbours 🏁 THIS SATURDAY THE 19TH SEPTEMBER - 8:00AM START 😃

In preparation for competitors attending the QLD State Cup 2026, hosted by Whitsunday Moto Sports Club - Karting, we're holding a working bee to get our camping grounds and amenities looking their best.

JOBS INCLUDE
🌿 Mow and tidy the camping areas
🧹 Clean the amenities
🧻 Restock supplies
👍 General tidy-up around the facilities

There's always more to do like track maintenance (particularly the hairpin and garage), re-stacking tyre walls, painting tyre walls white, etc... but the cleaning and prep work for the Karting event is the priority for this working bee!

We'd love to have plenty of members lend a hand 🙏The more hands we have, the quicker we can get it completed.

Can you make it? Comment below, send us a DM or contact Dan so we know who's attending.
