Alrighty Gerringong, I may not know what to do with my hands in these videos but I know I’m absolutely over the moon to have joined the wonderful The Collective Beat Kiama, Gerringong & Huskisson in Gerringong.

You can now shop my signature coastal textures and sea glass jewellery in-person, 7 days a week, in amongst a gorgeous store brimming with talented creatives and Aussie small businesses.

I can’t wait for my all the ocean loving folk to find my work here as we head into summer.

Much love 🫶

I can’t quite explain it, but repetition in nature just grabs me.

And it wasn’t until I got my first clean abalone impression in the wax that the perfectly familiar spiral pattern really jumped out at me.

While I knew I’d be capturing a spiral … there’s something about capturing a texture in metal that you can never fully imagine in your mind, you need to see it in the flesh for the first time.

For me, whenever I catch a glimpse of this design now, I always see the wave first.

What do you see?

I recently decided to return to in-person markets but…

I’ve made a conscious decision to do it very differently this time around and this DIY display is part of it.

I went ham on markets back in 2024 and the truth is I completely burned out from the huge effort involved.

I eventually ruled out markets completely after deciding that it just wasn’t sustainable ...

But the truth is, I played a big role in making it
“unsustainable”.

In hindsight, I made it more complicated and harder than it needed to be.

Here’s the top 4 mistakes I made:

I did almost every market on just a few hours sleep, pricing pieces and organising displays late the night before then waking up at 4am to travel to the market with enough time to set up.

My display was beautiful and unique and it got so many compliments (especially my famous rocks 😂) but it was very fiddly and time-consuming.

I had a different display layout for every event.

I tried to display every possible product I could.

So I’m giving it another crack with a few big tweaks:
- I’m sticking to markets that are generally easier to set up at.

- I’m sticking to the same display layout
EVERY.SINGLE.EVENT.

- I’m ok with displaying a selection of designs rather than every possible thing.

- I’m choosing simple display stands that are way less complicated.

This homemade display board was the final piece of the puzzle.

What do you think?

I actually had so much fun making this!

Whether you see a wave, Fibonacci sequence, or an abalone spiral … this much loved design is making a comeback after quite the hiatus!

It’s been over a year since I last made this design 🤯

Not sure where that time went. But I’ve missed bringing her into your worlds.

Despite lots of love for this naturally-textured abalone signet ring, I’d sadly had to put this design on hold after I was slowed down by some injuries, life, and then soaring metal prices.

So I’m very excited to say, SHE IS BACK!

If you’ve had your eye on her, here’s how it is going to work.

I’ll be opening up custom sizes on the website this Friday (August 14th) at 12noon AEST.

You will then have until Sunday evening to place orders over the weekend.

These first orders that come in over the weekend will be made first, with about a 3 week making time required.

From Monday August 17th, the ring will switch over to pre-order mode.

Orders placed between Monday 17th August to Monday 31st August will start being made on September 1st and these will dispatch about 3 weeks later, September 23rd.

Wow those dates really make me feel like the year is flying.

I don’t think I will have capacity to open another round this year. So definitely don’t let this moment pass you by if you’ve had your eye on this one.

Get your ring sizes ready for this Friday friends!

Beaming to make these for you!🌀🫶

I’ve been living in this one lately.

She’s one of my most delicate lightweight pieces.

Perfect for when you’re in the mood for barely-there-zero-fuss with a hint of understated coastal inspiration.

Imagine going about your day with a texture in tow that means something special to you while the rest of the world goes by with absolutely no idea just how mysterious this corrugated texture is.

A texture that shows up in the Cuttlefish’s hypnotic light show underwater and in dried up cuttlebones along the shoreline.

It’s like wearing a teeny tiny secret from the sea.

And it’s the kind of treasure you don’t need to worry about because solid precious metal is meant to be lived in.

No need to take her off before a shower or find a safe place for it before you jump in the sea.

That’s why the Cuttlefish Horizon Bar has been my go to lately.

You can live in her without a care in the world while catching little glimpses of underwater mysticism as you go about your day.

Reminiscing on a bit of a Bangor week of sea glass hunting for Adro and I.

Not just because it produced a big beautiful bounty and a few coveted rare pieces …

But because it brought the purest kind of joy to all the pockets of spare time I could steal in the week.

Spontaneous sessions turned into giddy delight.

Getting slammed by shories fully clothed (see previous reel).

Pushing each other out of the way to be the first one to reach the rare colour beaming off the sand 😂

Excitedly comparing loots at the end of each session looking for the daily “winner” - vaguely decided by quantity, quality and of course, rarity.

While sea glass is gorgeous, nostalgic and intriguing in and of itself… no one talks about these moments.

The moment of discovery that comes before it is crafted into a colourful keepsake.

Every one of my sea glass pieces starts this way.

Two big kids foraging in the sand for little recycled treasures.

PS Adro told me he started dreaming of sea glass this week so it’s safe to say his addiction is now fully fledged 😂👍

When it’s on , it’s on 🤷‍♀️

Opportunistic sea glass forage, Sydney sea glass, sea glass hunting in Australia, forgive me I’m not prepared

One happy little camper 👆

My market display got a little glow up recently with some gorgeous new signage from MarqMee™️

I am so happy with how delicious the Sea Bloom teal colour came out and how easy it is to put up!

It’s such a nifty magnet design that I just had to share it with my fellow creative business friends.

I also need to give a shout out the wonderful Cindy who started MarqMee™️ and runs the show with so much heart and efficiency!

She turned my design around so quickly.

It was in production and in my hands way faster than I expected.

I thought I’d left it too late for my event but it was so quick I ended up having plenty of time up my sleeve.

It turns out you can have the best of both worlds.

✅The warm personalised service of a small Aussie biz.
✅ AND fast turnaround times that rival the big guys 💪

Thank you Cindy!
