The vision is coming to life!

Meet the new residents moving into the aviary! Turns out this whole reno was for a very good reason… it’s boss man’s birthday and I was on a mission in less than 48 hours to find exactly what he wanted……

Small touches are happening every day and it’s so exciting watching it all come together.

Stay tuned for the end of the week / early next week too because his Father’s Day present is coming.

Yet again, my dad is on a mission with a new vision.

We are renovating!!

One of our bird aviaries is getting a full transformation and I am so excited to watch it come to life.

The BBQ area is coming together!

If you haven’t caught Mr Lucky May’s “helping” videos yet, you’re missing out.

Over the past couple months we been working on a BBQ build. With very minimal weekends available my dad’s vision in coming together and he has done it all him self.

It’s definitely getting there, and I honestly cannot wait to see the finished look of this space.

The weekend is almost over and it’s time to soak some sun up for our selves.

This is the best spot on the farm to stop have a seat, have a coffee, drink or something small to eat with the beautiful view of our animals all around us

I am not sure if it’s going to rain later today, so while the sun’s out it’s time to get the cleaning and feeding done. Never a dull moment on the farm 🦌✨

She’s at it and “helping” with the BBQ build (mostly moral support and getting used to her new surroundings and forever new home…. but we’ll take it)

Hi All, Mr Lucky May is back!

It’s been a busy season here at Once Upon a Time Highlands! A lot of you have been asking how Mr Lucky May is going… 💛

Our famous boy has needed a little time away from the other animals lately. Turns out he’s decided he’s not really a goose at all, he’s far too in love with being around humans to bother with his fellow feathered (or four-legged) friends! 😅

But don’t worry Mr Lucky May is still keeping himself very busy as our General Manager:

• Supervising visitors
• Helping out at the BBQ area
• Overseeing swan feeding time (very important work)
• Checking in on the Highland calves during his walks through the stable area

Still on the job, still full of personality, still 100% in charge.

Stay tuned Mr Lucky May has a partner. You may have already seen her ✨😊

So I’ve been a bit creative over the weekend before the weather settled in and I couldn’t be out side playing with the animals.

When I take the girls out and about I want to dress them up. Add a little touch to the event on where we are going!

I have always been trying to work out how to do the traditional looks on the llamas with pom-poms. Then I got inspired by someone else creative inspiration.

Thank you Miss Victoria for being my best model.
I’m so happy with how these all turned out. 💕🦙
