Rules, Regulations & Guidelines
As Ute & Beaut Glen Innes is hosted by the Glen Innes Show Society at the Glen Innes Showgrounds all standard road laws, and those stated below, apply for this event.
1. This event is strictly NO ALCOHOL
● NO alcohol is allowed on the grounds.
● NO alcohol is to be consumed at the event.
● Failure to comply will result in disqualification and you will be asked to leave the premises immediately.
● Breath tests can be randomly conducted at any time. Refusal of this process will result in immediate disqualification.
2. Any and all disqualifications, dismissals or removal from grounds are final and will result in NO REFUND.
● Our NO REFUND policy applies upon payment of entry fee.
● If you believe you have a right to a refund, you must put in a request in writing to Ute & Beaut Glen Innes and it will be investigated.
3. Minimum Entry Age is 16 and have a valid learner's permit.
● Learners are not permitted to compete in the Barrel Race.
● Learners must be accompanied by a fully licensed adult at any time whilst driving.
4. All drivers MUST hold a current drivers licence.
5. Judges are permitted to enter and participate in events and categories given; ● No judge shall participate in the registration process of an entrant.
● No judge shall participate in the payment process of any entrant.
● No judge shall participate in the judging of any event or category in which they are registered.
● No judge shall be associated with the sponsorship or prizes of the events of Ute & Beaut Glen Innes.
6. All vehicles entered MUST have current registration.
7. NO DOGS are permitted at the Ute & Beaut Glen Innes event.
● This includes dogs on leads, on the back of a ute or in dog boxes.
8. NO WEAPONS are permitted at the Ute & Beaut Glen Innes event. ● This includes "bringing the bow but no arrows" or "bringing the gun but no bolt".
9. There is to be absolutely NO;
- Revving of vehicles
- Burnouts
- Circle work
- Diesel dumping
- Excessively loud music
● Exceptions to revving apply when competing in specific events, at the location and time allocated by the judges.

10.‘Loudest’ category measurements will be recorded from as close to 1.5metres measured from the tip of the exhaust pipe as possible.
11. You may enter NO minimum number of vehicles in the Ute & Beaut Glen Innes event, however, they MUST NOT be entered into the same category. ● Extra vehicles for participation in the event can be towed in and must be registered and roadworthy.
12.Vehicles MUST be parked upon arrival.
● Trailers MUST be parked in a designated area.
● Once parked, event registered vehicles are NOT permitted to be moved or taken from the event unless express permission is given by a judge or steward.
● If a judge or steward refuses the vehicle from moving their words are final. 13.Any and all issues or complaints must be immediately brought to the attention of a judge or steward to allow the opportunity to fix, remove, respond or investigate as necessary.
● Any and all issues, complaints or requests after the conclusion of the event must be sent in writing to [email protected] within 30 DAYS of the event.
14.All entrants must be present at their vehicle at time of judging. ● Any entrant not present at the time of judging risks getting a lower score, as judges will not open any vehicle without the presence and permission of the owner.
● All categories and criteria can be found in this document and are available upon request.
15.NO PERSONS are permitted to be riding on the OUTSIDE of the vehicle; Including tray, bulbar, nudge bar, standing on side steps, etc.
● Any and all persons caught doing so will be disqualified and ask to leave. ● All occupants inside a vehicle, INCLUDING CHILDREN, must be restrained using appropriate restraints.
16.The decision and score of a judge is final.
● If you feel a decision or score given was inappropriate or unreasonable, please bring this to the judge or stewards attention on the day, or in writing within 30 days to [email protected].
