What an incredible weekend at the Glen Innes Showground... From sparkling gemstones and stunning jewellery to fossicking adventures, fascinating displays, and plenty of family fun – Minerama 2026 truly rocked!

👏 A huge thank you to our amazing exhibitors, volunteers, sponsors and the many visitors who travelled from near and far to be part of the weekend. Your support helps make Minerama one of Australia’s favourite shows of its kind.

✨ Stargazing at the Skywalk – Minerama Special Event ✨

What a magical night under the stars! 🌌
The event began with a fascinating presentation and delicious food at Crofters Cottage, before heading up to Glen Innes Skywalk Lookout Two for an unforgettable night of stargazing. 🔭

With amateur astronomer Matt Dodds at the helm, our group of 17 enthusiastic star followers held meteorites and explored the night sky on a perfectly clear evening.

We spotted cloud bands on Jupiter and saw its four Galilean moons, the stunning Orion’s Belt, and glimpsed inside nebulas and distant galaxies shining above us. ✨

A huge thank you to all the wonderful visitors who joined us under the Milky Way last night for this special Minerama experience.

Nights like this remind us just how spectacular the skies are here in the Glen Innes Highlands. ⭐

It’s been a huge family fun day, with visitors exploring the incredible stalls, discovering beautiful gems and jewellery, learning about minerals, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. ⛏️💎🔍

Thank you to everyone who came along and made today such a success. The pavilions and outside trader areas have been buzzing all day! 🙌
