Painting Story - 'A trip to the Valley'

A painting inspired by a day exploring with friends. The lookout was a must stop location, as the view is always impressive no matter the time of year. It was so cool to see the rain in the distance from our vantage point on a lovely June day last year. Artwork completed July 2026.

The story of 'A Pelican's Commute'

From our campsite by the Murchison River, we watched this pelican sail past us every morning. Every afternoon he would come back the other way at around 5pm. To me it looked like he could have been travelling to and from his day job. Sometimes he'd stop to pick up dinner on the way home and we would have the pleasure of watching him fish 🐟

I will do a post for each painting soon and share their stories. Every painting I do is linked with a moment in time and a memory. When I look at the paintings I remember these moments like it was yesterday 🥰
