BRISBANE, CAN YOU PLEASE TELL THE REST OF THE COUNTRY WHAT HAPPENED ON SATURDAY NIGHT AT QPAC?!
Because I can keep telling them ADDICTED TO LOVE is worth leaving the house for, but I am legally considered a biased witness.
You saw what Sean and I did in that room. You called it “top shelf no notes,” “raw, relatable and hilarious,” “honest and beautiful” and “exactly what I needed for my body, soul and mind.”
One woman said it was the best she had ever heard me sing.
Another brought her 15-year-old daughter for some “future-proofing.”
Someone else had to explain an 'Eiffel Tower' to her mum on the way home - honestly, this may be my favourite outcome so far.
Frankly, that is the breadth of experience I strive to provide.
Now I need your help.
If you were at the Brisbane show, please leave your honest review in the comments. Tell the people of Cairns, Newcastle, Thirroul, Melbourne and Sydney why they should come. Tag someone who needs this night or share this post with your people there.
My pals, these are your final chances to see ADDICTED TO LOVE.
I don’t think I have it in me to bring her out again. When this tour ends, I’ll close the chapter on a show I love very much and I want as many of you in those rooms as possible before I do.
So Brisbane, I’m handing this over to you:
What would you say to someone who is still deciding whether to buy a ticket?
