The wait is over, and Tomorrow is looking bright – Annie arrives at Geelong Arts Centre in January 2027!

Set in 1930s New York, Annie follows a spirited young orphan who never stops believing that brighter days are ahead. When fate takes her from a New York orphanage to the home of billionaire Oliver Warbucks, Annie's charm and optimism transforms the lives of everyone around her. It’s a heartwarming adventure for audiences of all ages, featuring some of musical theatre's most iconic songs.

Read about our Sister Act cast member Emily Jacker-Lawrence, who plays the extra happy Sister Mary Patrick, in today's GT Magazine in the Geelong Addy.

Sister Act is Emily's ninth show with Footlight Productions, a milestone reached by only four cast members!

She first performed with us when she was 15, in the children's ensemble of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, before performing in Cats, The Boy From Oz, West Side Story, Sweet Charity, Cats (again!), My Fair Lady and Les Mis.

Since then, Emily has continued performing across different settings and has remained a loyal audience member for our shows - but we're thrilled to have her back on the Geelong stage with us!
