Woohoo! We had our first gig for 2021 🙌
The Movin’ Mummas & Disco Dad trekked down the Hamilton Highway to Inverleigh to perform tonight at the local kinder welcome night & woah, did we have a ball!! The crowd was rocking & it was so good to have everyone up dancing along to our funky tunes.

The MOVIN’ MUMMAS & DISCO DAD hit the stage this week for their stage debut & boy, did we have a ball!! So fun to finally present our songs to the little dancers at ‘a dance on the green’ at the Geelong Racing Club!

Let me introduce you to 'The Movin Mummas & Disco Dad'...

We have Miss Kerrie Hutchinson, Miss Ally Miller, Miss Karen Feldman & Disco Dad James Hunt!

A tiny seed was planted roughly two years ago, when Miss Karen first envisaged “Movin’ Mummas’ – a children’s group made up of preschool dance instructors who have the unique ability to communicate with 2 to 5 year-olds. After chatting to long-time friend and musician James Hunt, the group quickly became “The Movin’ Mummas & Disco Dad” – with James as our musical composer.

The philosophy of the group is centered around ‘inclusion’, ensuring all students feel welcome and valued and ‘diversity’, respecting the differences that make children unique.

The band members have been meeting regularly since the COVID-19 pandemic hit (via zoom) to create songs and choreography. We can't wait for you to hear & see us LIVE one day!
