Our workshops are for everyone who is curious about the possibilities of sound-making outside the bounds of traditional music theory. Whether you are just starting your journey or are already experienced in taking your instrument into wild and wonderful places, each session will offer new pathways to sound-making through playing and listening together. Each month we are joined by a mentor who lead
s the session, with previous guests including: Dan O'Connor, Sage Pbbt, Mark Cain, Elizabeth Millar (CAN), Josten Myburgh, and Eduardo Cossio. We also regularly experiment with text scores, graphic notation, and multidisciplinary ways of making sound/ art together. Please get in touch if you're an artist from any discipline who'd be interested in collaboration. All workshops are held at Sullivan Hall, Nanine Avenue, White Gum Valley. There is plenty of free parking available, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Entry is by donation, with a suggestion of $10/15/20. For more details please email us at [email protected]
All art is by Koral Ward unless stated otherwise.
