Crescendo Theatre & Film is back with it's most popular acting course for adults
DRAMA INTENSIVE - this time in a new avatar! We're getting ready to set the stage for your talent!

65 + hours of intensive training spread over 2 and a half months with 2 hour classes 3 days a week. These will cover every tool and technique used by a professional actor in performance.
Additionally, we're bringing to you workshops with local film,TV and Theatre veterans to guide you on your acting journey as you navigate the tricky world of performance arts in Australia.

Meet our final performer who will accompany the play with his cello - John Napier - Associate Professor in Music, School of the Arts & Media
Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture
UNSW.
John Napier studied as a classical cellist, winning the Medal for Excellence at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. After holding a position as principal cellist of the then Queensland Theatre Orchestra, he moved to Sydney and has since performed in venues ranging from Darlinghurst squats to international festival stages. His groups have included the intercultural band Southern Crossings, the Latin funk outfit the Mambologists, the Indian fusion ensemble Sangam, & the improvising bowed strings of the Inlay Ensemble. He works extensively with musicians of South Asian background, and attempts to balance this with a position of Associate Professor at UNSW, where he teaches ethnomusicology and improvised performance.
