Help us plan the next four years of arts and cultural activity.
First sessions Murrurundi on Wednesday 11 September and Scone on Thursday 12 September. No need to book, just drop in.
We would love to see you at a Strategic Planning Session. Arts Upper Hunter will be visiting towns and villages in the region over the next couple of months as part of our Strategic Planning for the next four years. We want to hear from you, your community, your Councils.
This is not just about AUH but about the future creative directions and priorities for the whole region.
What is working well? What’s missing in the world of art and culture in this region, in your town, in your practice? What goals should we have for the medium term (eg by the end of 2028)?
The Community Consultation sessions won’t be too long, and each session will also include some updates and possibilities that we think you’ll find very useful:
- a snapshot of the opportunities for you or your group through the new Create NSW Project Grants,
- a look at new Cultural Tourism research and our own Creative Valleys website, and
- a Q&A including advice on CASP grants.

Scone: 10am Thursday 12 September Victoria Hall, Kingdon St.
Muswellbrook: 1pm Thursday 26 September at the Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre.
Gresford: 2pm Wednesday 2 October at the new Gresford Community Gallery (To Be Confirmed).
Singleton will be coming up in October some time, with other towns possible if time.
