One of the most beautiful things about Sing Out Choir is that everybody contributes in their own way 💛

Some people give financially.
Some volunteer their time.
Some businesses donate supplies or sponsor events.
Some simply help spread the word about what we do.

And together, it all helps create something truly meaningful.

A place where people can come to sing, connect, laugh, and feel less alone.

For many choir members, these weekly sessions become an important part of their routine and wellbeing — a safe and welcoming space to simply be themselves.

If your business would love to help support community connection through music, we’d love to chat about partnership opportunities that suit you.

There’s a reason singing together feels so powerful 💛

Studies have linked group singing to the release of endorphins and oxytocin. The hormones connected to happiness, trust and human connection.

And honestly, we see that every week at SingOut.

People walk through the doors feeling nervous, quiet or unsure of themselves, and slowly you start to see confidence grow. Friendships form. Smiles appear a little easier. People begin to feel like they belong.

Because sometimes connection doesn’t need long conversations or perfect words.

Sometimes it’s simply standing in a room full of voices and realising you’re part of something bigger than yourself.

In a world where so many people are feeling isolated or disconnected, spaces like this matter more than ever.

Right now, there are people in our community who genuinely need spaces like SingOut.

A place to connect. To laugh. To feel included. To walk into a room and know someone is happy to see them there.

For many of our members, choir is more than just singing. It’s friendship, confidence, routine and a sense of belonging during seasons of life that can otherwise feel incredibly isolating.

As EOFY approaches, we’re inviting businesses, organisations and community members to support SingOut through sponsorship.

Your support helps us continue creating accessible, inclusive spaces for people living with dementia, disability, mental illness and social isolation.

And the impact of that reaches far beyond music.

This choir changes lives quietly every single week through connection, community and human support that people genuinely hold onto.

If you’ve ever wondered whether community support makes a real difference, this is one of those places where it truly does 💛

Community isn’t built by one person.
It’s built by people choosing to care 💛

Every sponsor, volunteer, supporter, and donation helps Sing Out Choir continue creating a space where people feel connected, encouraged, and welcomed exactly as they are.

Some of the most meaningful support comes in simple ways:
✨ providing refreshments
✨ helping with venue costs
✨ becoming a regular giver
✨ sponsoring performances or resources
✨ sharing what we do with others

Because behind every rehearsal is a room full of people finding joy, friendship, and belonging through music.

If your business would love to support a community-focused organisation making a genuine impact, we’d love to connect.

Not every act of support has to be huge to make a real difference 💛

At Sing Out Choir, sponsorship can look like:
✨ donating morning tea
✨ helping cover resources
✨ becoming a regular supporter
✨ sponsoring an event
✨ simply choosing to invest in community connection

Every contribution helps us continue creating a welcoming space where people can laugh, sing, connect, and feel like they belong.

For many of our members, choir is about so much more than music. It’s friendship, routine, confidence and connection. It’s having a place to go where people know your name, care how you’re doing and notice when you’re not there. That sense of belonging can make a bigger difference than words can explain.

And that kind of community matters.

If your business would love to support something meaningful in a way that suits you, we’d love to connect.

We’re so excited to finally share the new Sing Out Choir website.

Not because it’s perfect or polished, but because it finally gives us a space to share the heart behind what SingOut really is.

A place for people to reconnect with themselves. To build confidence again. To feel part of something after experiencing isolation, loneliness or difficult seasons of life.

Every person in our choir has a story, and this community has always been about creating a safe space where people feel seen, supported and genuinely welcomed exactly as they are.

The music matters, of course. But the connection people find here matters even more.

We hope this new website helps more people discover SingOut, learn about our community, and maybe even find a place where they feel they belong.

Have a look through, meet some of the beautiful people behind the choir and share it with someone who might need this kind of community in their life right now 💛

Some people walk into choir thinking they’re just coming to sing.

But somewhere between the first hello, the shared laughter, the off-key harmonies, and the conversations over coffee afterwards… something shifts.

Friendships form.
Confidence returns.
People who felt isolated begin to feel seen again.

For many in our Sing Out community, this isn’t just a weekly activity.

It’s connection.
It’s routine.
It’s belonging.

We see people living with dementia light up at familiar songs.
We see people navigating disability or mental illness find a space where they feel accepted exactly as they are.
We see carers finally exhale.

That’s the real power of community.

And honestly?
You can feel it the moment you walk through the door.
