Today and tomorrow are the last days of our exhibition! This piece by Greg Grigson Art is simply gorgeous, with his use of reflective medium to catch the light!

Best day ever at the markets yesterday! Sold lots of cards, "Truth" sold in the first hour (THANK YOU SO MUCH Peter Fall), and I have a couple of commissions in the pipeline 🙌💃. Exciting times!
Lots of new people discovering me, and it was so good to talk to people who feel something from my work. Thank you to everyone who stopped by 🙏❤️

There's a backstory to this one!
I originally painted 'Introvert' with the idea of creating a message about TRUTH... but as I painted her the energy changed, and she became more about hiding... and she also wasn't looking directly at us... I needed the Truth subject to be bolder and braver.

So here is 'Truth'.
The pure sunlight represents the absolute truth. The subject's hat represents all the personal and societal filters that the truth passes through before it reaches her - whether that be
- intentional misinformation;
- unintentional warping of facts through gossip and Chinese whispers, or;
- her own belief systems that prevent her from accepting the truth even when she is being told it.
The only way she can KNOW the absolute truth, is to remove the hat, and interact directly with the source. She must be SHOWN, not told.

I had some scribbly fun with the water for this one... was a nice change from my usual intentional brushwork💃💃💃

This will be in our upcoming Mill Art Group exhibition, at the Denmark CRC, 2 Strickland St. 3rd - 19th April.
