Ever wondered if investing in quality paper is worth it? 🎨

Leah breaks it down: quality watercolour paper is made from 100% cotton AND it's double-sized. That means it's sealed during the making of the paper AND again on the surface once it's pressed into a sheet.

That double-sizing is what keeps your paint sitting on top of the paper instead of soaking straight into the fibres — giving you better colour movement, more vibrancy, and way more control.

Budget papers often skip this (or only do it partially), which is why your paint can feel like it's just... disappearing into the page.
