Filipino Australian Association of the Northern Territory ("FAANT") Today, the Northern Territory is home to many Filipinos from the islands of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

The Filipino-Australian Association of the Northern Territory had its beginning from the original Filipino Association of the Northern Territory (FANT) formed by a small group of professional Filipino-Australians in October 1973. Darwin is home to one of Australia’s largest and most vibrant Filipino communities. According to the 2022 census, the top overseas born Territorians are from the Philippi

nes. It is estimated that approximately 7000 Filipinos are now living in the Northern Territory. OUR MISSION
To maintain kinship among all Filipino- Australians and foster friendly relationships with all Australians to sustain and uphold the spirit and mission that Australia, our adopted country, has bestowed upon us. To recognise, preserve and honour our Filipino heritage and identity by upholding our culture , traditions and values. To strengthen our ties and nurture our relationships with the CaLD community, the leaders in the government, our sponsors and supporters and most importantly, our beloved members in the community. To stretch our capacity to support initiatives by opening our doors to events and activities catered for all Territorians especially for our youth.

Ube Cream Liqueur is now available at Smith Street Supermarket 😱🥳

A huge thank you to Louie from Smith St Supermarket, Sir Siggy and the team at 7000 Islands for bringing this uniquely Filipino favourite to the Territory.

From 19 June to 3 July, we’ll be revealing exclusive ube-inspired treats, drinks and creations from venues across Darwin as part of Ube After Dark.

And the best part?

It all culminates on 4 July with the official NT launch of Ube Cream Liqueur and JAYR LIVE IN DARWIN!!!
