This is 2026 BLACK PRIDE Q***R NAIDOC, a celebration of five decades of voices that refused to be silenced, communities that kept showing up, and culture that never, ever dimmed.

We gather under this year's NAIDOC theme "50 Years of Deadly" to honour what came before us and ignite the path of what comes next… in full colour, full voice, and full fabulousness!

Your hosts Steven Oliver and Miss Ellaneous will ensure a fabulous night of storytelling, spectacle, and Blak Joy—joined on stage with performances from LGBTQIA+SB artists and Allies including Nova Gina, Oxy-Kodeine, Bizzi Body, Garret Lyon, Joshua Taliani, Katya Louking, Magenta, Honey Buttons, Rubenesque plus beats from DJ Wez!

The Elders built this. We carry it forward. Come be part of it.

We’re looking for deadly First Nations Drag Kings from across the country, whether you’re brand new to drag, an established King, or somewhere in between. If you’ve got the swagger, story and spirit, we want to hear from you.

Submitting an EOI simply lets us know you’re interested. We’ll then be in touch to chat through all the finer details.

House of Blak: Miss First Nation takes you inside the fierce, fabulous world of First Nations drag — filmed in Meanjin at the iconic Brisbane Powerhouse on Yuggera & Turrbal Country.

Across six episodes, eight deadly First Nations drag artists battle it out for the crown. But this is bigger than a title. This is about pride. Visibility. Culture. Community. Blak excellence.

Through costume, performance and storytelling, each queen brings her whole self to the stage — celebrating joy and artistry while speaking truth to the realities our communities continue to face.
