✨ CONNECTIONS - dance is so much more than steps & costumes, for us it's all about connection✨
One of our favourite things about performing at local community events isn't just what happens on stage, it's all the beautiful moments that happen around it...
🤍 The mum or aunt helping hand out props to their child's group
🤍 The proud family members huddled together, phones at the ready, eager to capture their little sweetheart's moment to shine
🤍 The excitement of flapping butterfly wings, straightening costumes and checking you're ready to go on stage
🤍 Older dancers proudly cuddling their baby siblings backstage
🤍 Daddy snuggles for confidence or sitting on Mummy's lap just before it's your turn to dance
🤍 Parents and carers crouched carefully behind their dancers on stage, offering that little bit of reassurance to help them feel brave
🤍 Spotting your ballet bestie and bursting with joy because you get to dance together in front of a huge audience
🤍 The quiet moments on the waiting mats, taking a deep breath and thinking through the steps before the music begins
🤍 A cousin helping tie back hair or straighten a unicorn crown so everything is just right
These tender moments are what make our ballet school community so special. The connections between our dancers and their caregivers are what truly make these experiences so magical!🩰
