Exploring the paradox of vastness and intimacy within the night sky, a field of luminous marks suggests both intimate expansion and quiet cohesion, where abundance emerges through subtle accumulation. Suspended within darkness, each point of light contributes to a greater constellation - ordered yet softly shifting. This work recalls the quiet awe of looking upward into the night, where the sky felt boundless and dreaming seemed possible.

Join Simon the Potter for a Paint a Plate Workshop in Warwick, Queensland, during the fabulous Jumpers & Jazz 2026 festival - set inside the beautiful Willow Floral Designs store.

Over two cosy hours, you’ll design and paint your own handmade stoneware plate (just like the one in this reel) while enjoying a glass of prosecco and generous grazing platters - a relaxed, intimate experience.

You’ll be guided through simple techniques in pattern, colour and composition to help you create something truly personal - you’re welcome to design your plate however you like!

No experience needed — just come along, unwind, and enjoy the process.
