Was looking forward to date night tonight, have eaten here a few times, recently for our family Engagement dinner with no complaints.
There must have been a change in chefs or perhaps menus, but the Brisket was tough like wood, and nearly needed a hacksaw to cut it, and very dry. Have never had to ask for Gravy and the menu does not charge additionally for it either.
Needless to say we got home, and I projectile vomited.
We won’t be back.
Disappointing.
Terrible food ruined out date night
In my opinion
Terrible meal apart from the ribs the rest was not up to par for the money they charge. There “ smoked” pulled pork tasted of boiled meat with no flavour most of it was dry and cold. Then we asked for sauce they brought it out cold. Cold sauce hmmmm. We got hot chips which weren’t cooked properly they did them again and were still the same. The best part of my dinner experience is when we left and went to maccas
This Sunday was supposed to be our Winter Showcase..... Well, no matter. We've just booked another date! Thanks The Amazing Grace. No longer in winter, now in Spring. 19th September is our new date! Looking forward to it!!
So the Covid goblin has struck once again and we're unable to play our Melbourne shows this weekend due to continued QLD border closures.
In happier news, we are here at The General, Mt Hotham and very excited about playing tonight and about our show at the Wandi Pub on Sunday afternoon.
We will reschedule our shows at the The Amazing Grace and POME and update you all ASAP.
So sorry to everyone who bought tickets and arranged babysitters etc - we really appreciate your support and understanding through these weird times and hope that you'll be able to go out and watch some great live music at one of the many brilliant live music venues in Melbourne that are definitely in need of our support at the moment.
