🏡Plant for Black Cockatoo🌱
Southwest Australia is home to three species of Black Cockatoo: Carnaby’s, Baudin’s, and Forest Red-tailed Black Cockatoo. And with ongoing habitat and native vegetation loss, these majestic birds are struggling to survive in this world.
This is a small illustration guide on what plant you should choose to help these Black Cockatoos’ lives a bit easier.
All three kinds of Black Cockatoo have different preferences for food and nesting materials, but there are some in common, such as Banksia grandis, Corymbia calophylla, and our precious Eucalyptus marginata or Jarrah tree.
I sincerely hope that this will spark some interest in you to create something for our wildlife. And if you already are, good job, and keep going.
These are just a small portion of the guide. Please do some research for a more suitable way for your situation.
