The Alchemy of Embodied Feminine Wisdom Teacher Training is SO much more than a training about how to teach yoga.
This is a training about being a human. How do we show up for ourselves with presence and kindness? How do we show up for others with presence and kindness? What is it like to compassionately listen to another person without trying to fix them or offer advice? How do we hold space for others to remember their innate goodness?
These skills are not just essential to facilitation (whether that be facilitating yoga, meditation, free movement or workshops) but absolutely essential to being a loving and kind human.
I’m not just interested in training people to teach yoga, I’m interested in exploring how to live with more compassion, courage, freedom and authenticity. Because the world needs more people living from their hearts, not just people who’ve memorised the cues for downward dog.

Starting in April, Yolanda French is offering a 12-week workshop series that explores the foundations of Classical Tantra Yoga. The series includes classes on āsana, prāṇāyāma, mantra, philosophy and Sanskrit. Tantra yoga āsana provides the physical pillar, prāṇāyāma the subtle pillar, and mantra the causal pillar of knowledge and practice. Tantrik philosophy and Sanskrit create a foundation that supports these three pillars. Integrating all of the above into your life can create profoundly transformative effects for the benefit of all and enables you to build a balanced, prosperous spiritual life.
Each week you will explore the basics of what (theory) and how (practice), so that you leave with knowledge and tools to integrate what you learn into your lived experience. Drop-in weekly and attend only those classes that resonate, or participate in the entire series.

Yolanda French is a student and practitioner of Tantra, Yoga and Sanskrit and she has spent her entire adult life chasing the tail of consciousness. She’s studied in yoga studios and ashrams, sitting by dhunis and on pilgrimages, as well as in tertiary academic institutions. In her experience, the most transformative tools for personal evolution are Tantra, Yoga and Sanskrit (yes, Sanskrit). She also happens to love mung beans and makes a mean vegan tea cake. We’re looking forward to what she shares with us throughout 2020.
