We were so thrilled to join Kat Theophanous MP and Bill Papastergiadis to celebrate our Fairfield Amphitheatre recognition as having State-level Cultural significance and being awarded state-level heritage protection by the Heritage Council.

Our precious Fairfield Amphitheatre is now protected for future generations.

We are still stunned! Thank you to our brilliant local advocates such as Anne Horrigan-Dixon who fight to protect our precious cultural assets and helped us achieve this remarkable victory! Thank you Neos Kosmos for wonderful reporting throughout our campaign! Thank you to all 5000 of you who signed our petitions!

HERITAGE. PROTECTED.

We won!!!

The Heritage Council has just awarded heritage protection to our phenomenal FAIRFIELD AMPHITHEATRE, the Dressing rooms (River pavilion) and Ticket booth (Kiosk).

This remarkable decision recognises its state-wide significance as an incredible Ancient Greek style outdoor theatre and its unique cultural history.

Our Fairfield Amphitheatre complex is now protected for future generations. Also this is an incredible win for Greek-Australians as recognition of their significant contribution to the culture of the nation.
