​Located in the Orara East State Forest (Niigi Niigi to the traditional Gumbaynggirr owners), this incredible structure sits on an escarpment 310 metres above Coffs Harbour. The pier itself juts out 21 metres over the edge, suspending you 15 metres directly above the rainforest canopy. On a clear day like today, you can see the coastline stretch out for nearly 100 kilometres. Panoramic views just don't get much better than this! 🌊🏙️⛰️

Standing at the easternmost point of the Australian mainland! 🗺️📍 The iconic Cape Byron Lighthouse has been guiding ships safely along the coast since it was lit in 1901. Built from local basalt, it sits 94 metres above sea level on a dramatic headland, making it the perfect vantage point to spot migrating humpback whales, dolphins, and turtles. Definitely a must-visit if you're exploring the Northern Rivers! 🐋🌊

You can’t drive through the Mid North Coast without paying respects to the absolute OG of Australia's "Big Things"! 🚗🍌 Standing tall since 1964, The Big Banana in Coffs Harbour is officially a right of passage for any Aussie road trip. Had to pull over for the mandatory tourist photo! 🇦🇺💛

Did you know this absolute icon was almost demolished back in 2009? 😱 Thankfully, it got saved, relocated, and given a massive $400,000 makeover (including getting a tail for the very first time!). Now it proudly guards the Bunnings car park in West Ballina. You’ve gotta love Aussie roadside culture! 🦐✨
