I’ve just received my June Paper Pumpkin kit. I’m soo excited I think I will make dome of the cards today and send them out.
You can subscribe to the July Paper Pumpkin Kit up until the 10th of July. It looks like it is going to be lovely from the little snippet I have seen already.

Myth- putting a card kit together is not cardmaking!
I have been crafting for a very long time and have always stamped images myself onto cards. So when kits became available I resisted them for a long time.
But do you know what I found-

✂️ these kits are high quality
✂️ some of them you do have to stamp
✂️ you can add things to them to make them your own
✂️ you can change the designs to suit what you want
✂️ they are soo pretty and don’t look like they are from a kit
✂️ they are transportable that is you don’t have to take everything but the kitchen sink. One box and @ pair of scissors is all you need to have a fun creative time
✂️ there is soo many different kits that one is bound to suit your needs

I’m sold on kits now. Soo much so I subscribed to Paper Pumpkin. This is the New kit subscription from Stampin’Up! Which is a little surprise that gets delivered to your door every month so you can have some crafting fun. This months includes bicycles which I love! I’m going to enjoy it immensely.

Yesterday I had some new people come to my card class. It was lovely to get to know Phoebe, Diana, Lisa. I had met them at CraftAlive last month so it was great to get to know them a bit more. Alisa was with us too. It turned out that quite a few of us had lots of things in common.
There was again lots of laughter and maybe a sprinkle of seriousness as they learnt how to put together the 3 different cards.
Thank you for coming it was such a fun afternoon. .

Do you do what I do …….
I had an idea in my head of what I wanted to make but what I made was nothing like I thought it would be. Today I went will a shaker card and her name and of course Happy Birthday. I think every child likes a shaker card and to see their name in print on their card too. Seeing her name will be a winner! Having a shaker card will be a winner too. And of course what 8 year old girl doesn’t like sparkle. It’s a bit late but I promised I’d make her a moving card. I broke my general rule of 3 or 5 bits of bling because I thought it worked.
Let me know what you’ve tried lately that didn’t go to plan but still worked anyway.
