⭐️2027 RECRUIT⭐️

More big news out of Calivil as we welcome Justin Beugelaar! Justin brings some much needed height and experience to our team and has certainly played some high quality footy over his career. His resume includes 77 games for the NT Thunder in the NEAFL and over 100 games for the Waratahs in the NT Premier League alongside our very own Sammy, Goochy and Jordy. He has since moved to Horsham and played for Dimboola and Taylors Lake. He has also served as senior coach for both these teams, bringing us his leadership and footy smarts.

Primarily has spent his career as a swingman able to play at both ends of the ground, coming to us as a key forward, with his goal kicking ability on show when he came 5th in the league goal-kicking for Taylors Lake. Justin provides us with size, athleticism and is keen to get cracking.

Welcome Justin, and his partner Olivia!

Two more young talents calling Calivil home for 2027 are brothers Declan and Ethan McMahon!

Dec joins us from South Bendigo, where he has been playing predominantly across half back and through the midfield. He made his senior debut in his first year out of u18s and has continued to earn senior experience since finishing up from the juniors a few years ago.

Ethan also joins us from South Bendigo, finishing up in the U18s last year as one of their more consistent performers and getting his first taste of open age footy this year. He spent much of his underage career as a midfielder, transitioning across to a wing this year.

Both join us from a winnings culture and experience with deep finals runs, and it is always exciting to add some new young talent to develop and grow together.

Welcome Ethan, Declan and his partner Tari!

⭐️2027 RECRUIT⭐️

The next new face at Calivil for the 2027 season is Jack Slavich!

Jack brings much needed experience to our list, with over 100 games of footy under his belt. He also provides versatility, with the ability to play off half back, on ball or on the half forward line where he has been known to love a snag. It’s evident by his size that he lives in the gym, providing us with a strong body around the contest. Jack also comes across from Hadfield, where his lethal left foot and gut running was on show for all to see.

Welcome Jack, and partner Kristi!
