I shot these beautiful mother & daughter photos last year, and they’re still some of my favourites I’ve ever captured.

They were so natural in front of the camera - but more than that, their connection was something really special. The kind of strong, loving relationship you don’t have to stage or direct, it just shows in every frame.

Moments like these are such a reminder that the best photos aren’t just about how they look, but about the feeling behind them.

A few months ago, blessed cairns with a brand new FREE social event that not enough people knew about in my opinion!

Stratford Sounds featured a diverse lineup of local musicians performing in various public venues like cafes, the library, barbershops and distilleries. The event, presented by the Cairns Regional Council, was designed to boost local businesses and community connection through music and boy did it ever. All ages inclusive!!

Keep your eyes peeled for the next one, it was such an amazing day to be apart of and I can guarantee you won’t wanna miss it!

Over 6 years ago, I had the pleasure of covering a very impromptu wedding on

This was my first time shooting a wedding solo. With little time to spare, there wasn’t any opportunity for a witness to sign the marriage certificate, so for the first time in my career, I had to act as the witness! 😂

The sunset that they were treated to was one of the best sunsets I’d ever seen. Not only was it so golden and perfect, but it fell right down behind the beach, which made for an epic opportunity to do the post ceremony pics! I was running around like a mad man screaming directions at the top of my lungs in water up to my knees while simultaneously losing my mind at how insane this scene was.

And then to top it off, we did a bouquet toss right next to a raging bonfire and danced into the night! Just another amazing memory made at Haggerstone Island. If you’re looking to go all out for your wedding elopement, this is the spot, honeymoon and elopement all in one.

In June 2023, while I was traveling solo for my first time in Europe, I met Caro in the pool of a Hostel in Portugal. We ended up getting along so well we carried on down the Coast for a few days. Fast forward to 2025 and I’ve had the pleasure of traveling over to California to shoot the welcoming party and attend the wedding for Caro & Teresa - her now wife.

Just another incredible example of what comes from jumping out of your comfort zone and hitting life at full pace.
