This months Label In Focus is Full Cycle Records.
The Bristol-based Drum and Bass label founded in 1993 by Roni Size, DJ Krust, DJ Die, and Suv, originally as Full Circle before changing names after the first release (The Resister / Music Box) , to Full Cycle.
It has become a cornerstone of the "Bristol Sound," blending jazz, funk, and dub influences with heavy basslines and is the label behind many genre defining classics.
For this mix we focus on the releases from '93 to '99.

Producer, DJ, Winner of the Mercury Music Prize in 1997 for The Roni Size & Reprazents album New Forms, Co-Founder/Owner of Full Cycle Records/Dope Dragon and one of the pioneers of that 🔥🔥 Bristol Sound - RONI SIZE
Covering a selection of work between 1993 & 1996, including releases under his many pseudonyms (Mask/Firefox/Hokuspokus), collaborations with fellow Reprazent members Krust, Die & Suv, and a handful of remixes he did in that period.

For This months Producer in Focus Episode i take a trip back to the 90's and look at the work of one of the most prolific producers of that Golden Era - DJ CRYSTL -
With releases on Dee Jay Recordings, Lucky Spin, Moving Shadow, Deep Jungle and his own label Force Ten Records among others, Daniel Chapman is the man behind some legendary Jungle/DnB releases including Paradise, Warpdrive, Meditation and The Dark Crystl.
This nearly 3hr mix covers the majority of his work from this period and includes remixes he did for others and releases under his pseudonym MI5.

Beyong buzzin' to be heading down to Brissy to support not 1, but 2 legends of the DnB / Jungle world - & on the Brisbane leg of their Australian/NZ/ Asia tours.
