✨Mother Earth: An Acknowledgment of Country✨

Acrylic on canvas (38cm x 76cm).$500.

This beautiful artwork represents the significance of Country, connection and Songlines to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Country is more than a place and is inherent to our identity. We speak of
Country as though we speak of a person, sustaining our lives in every aspect-spiritually, physically, emotionally, socially and culturally.

Deeply connected to Country are Songlines, that trace the journeys of ancestral spirits as they created the land, animals and lore. Integral to Aboriginal spirituality, songlines are deeply tied to the Australian landscape and provide important knowledge, cultural values and wisdom to Aboriginal people. The sharing of songlines is passed down through generations of families.

As a late diagnosed neurodivergent person, I have always known my brain processes things differently. What I know now is that this has always been my superpower. I am different, not less.

The Galaxy #2
Acrylic on canvas (61cm x 41cm).
$500

This special artwork represents the night sky, including the beautiful stars, and further beyond into the galaxy.

The sky, the stars and the constellations hold many of our song lines and tell the story of our People and Country. It is what we have used and continue to use to identify, locate and journey through our Country.
