Mermaid Nixie is a Professional Mermaid and proud business owner of Southwest Mermaids. I live in Southwest region and love to make a splash while “Keep the magic alive”. Since starting Southwest Mermaids I have had some amazing opportunities, swimming with marine life; whale sharks, manta rays, reef sharks and dolphins. For the past four years I have been working along side the iconic Busselton J
etty, Western Australia my home town. It is the longest timber piled jetty in the southern hemisphere. Here I have the opportunity to perform (freediving) in 8 meters of water with my mer-pod during the summer periods for all the tourist around the world who come visit this destination. Through having these experiences it has helped me, as a Mermaid to educate the Children and how we can look after this environment for the future. I have completed my training within the Dive SSI to be a qualified Mermaid Instructor. Due to no affiliated Dive Centre within my area, I have been given permission to be a sole trader and run my own Mermaid School, which opened up 2021. Nixie is currently accepting booking for Birthday Parties, Appearances, Events, Resorts, Mermaid School.
