Proud to deliver this special mural to St. John's Lutheran Community Kindergarten

A piece that was designed collaboratively with the staff and children of the kindy. After our 7 Session Kindy Program.

The mural reflects the Free to Flourish Framework, bringing together the ideas, stories and creativity of the children and the values that shape their learning environment.

But it’s not quite finished yet… 👀✨

Tomorrow, the staff and children will add their own markings to the mural, making it truly theirs and completing this collaborative piece.

A mural created with the kindy, for the kindy, and by the people who make it such a special place to grow and flourish. 🌱

🖤💛❤️ What an incredible journey it has been! 🖤💛❤️

A huge thank you to Bright Horizons Australia Childcare Pty Ltd Childers for welcoming me into your Kindy community over the past 7 sessions.

Together, we explored Aboriginal culture through storytelling and art, learning a new technique each week from dot painting, line work and symbolism to animal tracks, pathways and representations of people. More importantly, we discovered how each of these elements can come together to tell meaningful stories through art.

Watching the children grow in confidence, curiosity and creativity each week has been such a privilege. It was also wonderful working alongside the amazing educators, embedding cultural perspectives into everyday learning and creating opportunities for shared experiences and conversations.

The highlight of the program was bringing everyone’s learning together into one collaborative artwork, with each child leaving their own special mark through their fingerprints. This mural is more than just a piece of art it tells the story of a community coming together, learning together and creating something that will be treasured for years to come.

Thank you again to the wonderful children and educators at Bright Horizons Childers for your enthusiasm, kindness and willingness to embrace the journey. It has been an absolute pleasure. ❤️🖤💛

A huge thank you to the wonderful team and children at St John’s OSHC for having me for a Paint & Sip session! 🎨🖤💛❤️

It was an absolute pleasure sharing Aboriginal culture through art and showing everyone how stories can be told without using words. Seeing everyone’s creativity come to life and the unique stories expressed through their paintings was so special.

Thank you for your warm welcome, enthusiasm, and for embracing the experience. We had an amazing time and can’t wait to visit again! 🖌️✨

One of the most rewarding parts of what I do 🖤💛❤️

A Director recently shared this with me a child brought her this artwork and proudly said, “Adrian taught me how to write a story using Aboriginal art.” They then went on to share the story behind their artwork.

This is exactly why I’m passionate about teaching Aboriginal art and storytelling to children creating connection, confidence, creativity and cultural understanding through story, symbols and art.

Moments like this mean everything. 🌿
