Our Story
Servicing Melbourne’s music lovers, Rubix is a 500sqm fully licensed warehouse setting the perfect canvas for parties of all kinds; international touring acts, exhibitions, showcases and all age gigs with 300 standing capacity. The venue is run by musicians and artists who are passionate about delivering high quality events by the people for the people.
Nestled 10 minutes north of the Melbourne CBD in Brunswick’s world renowned creative precinct, Rubix tastefully blurs the lines between a bangn underground warehouse party and a high quality live music gig, offering an edgy, industrial, entertainment alternative, far from the usual venue.
With the venue constantly evolving, every event is a different adventure, even for our regulars.
Beautifully tuned to capture the best of the warehouse acoustics, the VOID sound system is an industry leader when it comes to electronic and live music precision. Promoters and booking agents can be sure that when booking Rubix for events, sound is one thing you won't have to worry about.

We can't explain how much it means to us all the support we have been shown and the vibe around our very first event. Our goal is to showcase Melbourne's most passionate and talented Techno & Hard Techno DJ's and bring a high energy vibe that will leave you wanting more. As of tomorrow we will start introducing to you our artist for the upcoming event so you can get to know them a little more.

Fun night playing at RUBIX Warehouse Melbourne last night. Pretty quiet, but i had my trusty with me.
Big ups to those I chatted to, including the guy who loaned me his HD25s (and Stan for not yelling at everyone all the time).
On Thursday 10th of November, we are transforming RUBIX Warehouse Melbourne into a Techno fueled warehouse rave that will make you feel out of this world. Featuring a stacked lineup of the best Techno DJs that Melbourne has to offer, including the queen herself Ophélie Mercury.
