I’ve got some sad news for you all, our most amazing venue manager Han is flying the coop, leaving the nest (or any other bird type analogy you can think of) at the end of this month. Han’s going back to school and doing amazing and exciting things, which is awesome!!! Of course we are all going to miss her incredibly, and the place wont feel the same without her smiling face behind the bar, but we sincerely wish her all the best for anything she does from here. Stay tuned for info about her send off later this month.
So, that being said, we are on the hunt for a new venue manager. You will have the biggest little shoes to fill, so goes without saying that we are looking for someone experienced in dive bars and live music venues, and of course, has a kick ass attitude and sense of humour to boot! I could sit here and sing his praises all day long, but the long and the short of it is that this place wouldn’t be the same without him… always smiling, always looking fierce, always keeping us laughing, and always up for shenanigans (and always putting up with mine and Hans). Ferg has looked after me more times than I can count when I’ve come in a little second hand, in fact, he once let me sleep on the stage for my entire shift while he just did his thing and looked after the bar… what a fu***ng legend!
I know I’m speaking on behalf of the whole team when I say we love you Ferg ❤️

Whole Lotta Love is one of Melbourne’s premier small dive bars and live music venues. With Led Zeppelin murals on the walls, the backdrop to the stage is one of the most iconic and recognisable around.
During the current state of emergency we can’t bring you the live bands like we used to, but we WILL be doing it as best we can within the current restrictions!
Capacity is limited to 14 patrons inside and 6 outside (when we don’t have gigs on) to fit within the 20 maximum and 1 per 4 sqm rule currently in place.
You don't need to book to pop in for a beer, but if you are planning on coming down during a busy time, or with some mates, it's best to call ahead just in case :)
Gigs have a very limited audience availability, so check in the events to see how you can get tickets to each show. If you miss out, don't worry, we will be live streaming where we can.
In the meantime, we are still pushing our merch range to try and make some bucks and keep us going until we can be back at full capacity.
