🐚 A message from The Dugong Comedy Club 🐚

We noticed a strange ripple in the Facebook reef…
Turns out our mate Bart Deco had to rebuild his page after Facebook nudged him out of his old coral cave.

His new one’s looking fresh — a little less covered in seagrass.
(Not that I’m complaining. I do love a good feed of seagrass.)

Thank you, Broome! 🐾 What a packed house at Divers Tavern this past Friday — and what a hilarious show. From our local openers Georgie Barnes and Bart Deco (what an effort!) to the headliner and absolute comedy rising star Nikki Justice… it was a night to remember.

I can say, as a dugong producing their very first comedy show… it went swimmingly. (And trust me, I know a thing or two about swimming.) 🐟

Hello friends, it’s us, the Dugong Comedy Club 🐾

We swim pretty slowly through life, but sometimes even we have to splash with excitement. This Friday, two of our very own — Georgie Barnes and Bart Deco — are up on stage at Divers Tavern!

They’ll be opening for the mighty Nikki Justice. We’ve read about Nikki’s past… crime families, circuses, bikies, strip clubs… gosh. A dugong like us would never survive a life that wild. We’re more the “eat seagrass and nap in the sun” type. 🌱☀️

But we’ll be cheering loudly (well… slowly, gently, with a little ooohhh sound). Because Georgie and Bart are ours, and we’re so proud to see them sharing the stage with such a powerhouse comic.
