Kimberley Open Studios Trail The Kimberley Open Studios Trail showcases makers, creators, art centres and galleries in our creative region.

Trail sites and studios will open 27 June to 4 July to share cultural expression and arts practice unique to the Kimberley . Join us this June in Broome, Western Australia, for a unique experiential series of events that encompass the playful and creative spirit of Broome. This is a must-see festival for lovers of art and performance with a variety of activities that bring together the local cultures of the region produced by the Kimberley Arts Network.

It's your last chance to get out and on the trail. There are some incredible pieces of work for affordable prices. Jules Bulleid "Between the Horizon and the Sky" opening exhibition tonight 5pm at Black Stump Gallery

Between the horizon and the sky is the place where the wild formations of my imagination reside. Lilting yet powerful, shifting between foreground and background; the ranges of the Kimberley stretch out in my memory and amalgamate here in these paintings. While my paintings are born from my imagination, the raw colours, ancient forms and cinematic vision of the Kimberley have guided my imagination here.

AFTERGLOW Jaimee Wright. Friday evening 5:30 pm at Red Bill Studio Gallery .

The first solo exhibition by emerging Broome artist Jaimee Wright.
Working on Yawuru Djugun Country, Jaimee's practice draws on her Kimberley upbringing to explore connection to place and the experience of living regionally.
In AFTERGLOW, Jaimee presents a collection of new paintings inspired by memories of travelling through the Northwest since childhood. Glowing skies, moonrises, termite mounds and rich red earth unfold across each canvas, capturing the beauty, warmth and quiet nostalgia of the Kimberley landscape.

Redbill invites everyone to come along to celebrate Jaimee's debut solo exhibition and meet the artist.
