In my last term I did a series which are different for me in that I worked in black and white. This is one of them. The figures in these are ambiguous, and the scene holds an ominous feeling increased by the use of black and white. The mid splash captured here was designed to create tension. I was inspired by environmental issues though, like the loss of marine biodiversity. Working in black and white holds its own challenges but is something I may continue to experiment in as I like the outcomes.

So thrilled and honoured to be a finalist in this upcoming exhibition at QCAD Galleries. Held later this month!
