The image of a phoenix has been on my mind lately. Something about an unwavering and self-replenishing fire, which persists in spite of what should be "the end".

To me, it has become an image of determination. But also an image that asks for care and caution, because like the sun an unwavering fire can light the world, or just as easily destroy it.

First shirt print run: success! 🥳

I've been chatting about learning screen printing for a while now, and I can proudly say that my first print is done!

These will be available for sale with a bunch of other prints and artworks at markets over the next few weeks.

Brisbane & Sunny Coast here I come!

With Christmas fast approaching, I'll be showing at 6 different markets over the next 4 weeks!

You'll find a variety of prints, stickers, shirts, and a very limited number of original artworks (lots of pics coming soon)

Soon to be a screen print, wish me luck as I learn how to burn a screen! If there any must-avoid newbie mistakes, I've love a heads up 😅

The archetypes of table top fantasy rpg's are definitely showing up in this one. When I'm not drawing, I've been a Pathfinder GM lately (aka, big boss sweaty nerd). Sorcery, monsters and elves will always live rent free in this brain 🌿

Tae asked me to create an abstract oil painting for him which complimented the existing colour scheme of his home. The sage, beige and timbers of the space's decor were taken into consideration, with a pop of ultramarine blue for wow factor 💙

This is one of my first truly abstract artworks! Feeling really stoked about the rhythm and colour. The way light moves through this piece in person is very ethereal, as though it is kept within the painting. This, and the joy that Tae as a person brings me, is where the title comes from.
