// 'Other Dimensions' //
The expanding Sun's rays that made rivers ache, also performed acts of voidance to the physical barriers between universes. Hence, these pockets of a void were created. It has been a long time since they appeared. No one knows exactly how long because the tradition of counting time as a calendar was relinquished by us long ago. Yet, there is no armamentarium on what made these form where they are. What we know is that the wooden planks they're framed in, from the persistently radiating Chernobyl; an astronomically unforgotten event, became our haven for these materials due to the works of the same Sun.
These voids are forming and vapourizing tributaries of wormholes to many universes all the time. We see random objects and processes in the midst of happening from these, leak into ours. If it is of a verse where the current location of Earth differs, we tend to get gravel that was unaffected by gravity and hence cuts through and falls below, depending on how abruptly the tributaries vapourised. They bend any matter around them including light and are known to engulf objects when a pull from the other side is too strong, throwing them into: Other Dimensions.
