It started out as an experimental short that went viral on Youtube in 2007. Four years later it had become a wildly popular, absurdist animated series. But who was the man who came up with the concept and the cast of colourful characters? (The protagonist was originally called Pen, in honour of his creator, but this changed to Finn when the series was picked up by Cartoon Network in 2010)

Also this week, it's International Cat Day AND International Traffic Light Day. Will either of these themes show up in our questions? Maybe...

Nevertheless, there's still time to check if you know this one, and if not... look it up! Make sure you finish your homework before the quiz starts though, as everyone knows it's naughty to be googling answers once the questions are rolling.

Thank goodness spelling doesn't count at BrisQuiz Trivia! When asked to name the 16th Century Italian astronomer with the initials G.G. this week, it really showed off the unique thinking from each team. đź’€(Skull emoji - callback humour)

These 38 answers all received full or partial points, but Caleb and Emily had a big job on their hands to review all of these subtly different submissions (not to mention the incorrect answers that aren't shown here).

The correct spelling is on this list somewhere. Can you spot it?

Quiz time! Happy Bastille Day everyone. I hope you've been keeping an eye on the news and current affairs recently. We lost an acting legend this week, and an Aussie got altogether too little attention for swiftly conquering Serena Williams at her own game two weeks ago.

Don't forget that Wednesday's quiz will run earlier, kicking off Round 1 at 6:30pm and finishing at 7:50pm when Fair Play Kitchen will be swiftly converting into your big-screen auditorium to cheer on the Maroons in the State of Origin decider!
