Wednesday hike No 1:
Headed to Main Range National Park on my through to Giraween and did the short, but sweet 'Rainforest Circuit' at the top of Cunninghams Gap.
A very kid friendly track at only 1.6km with great views of Moogerah Dam.

Just when I think Lamington National Park can't get any better, it blows me away again and again...
Completed Ship's Stern Circuit this morning and it was just amazing!
Heading there mid week with less people certainly made a difference with heaps of wildlife around including pademelons, lyrebirds, land mullet and a lace monitor.
I'll be heading back again in September to do the extended Circuit to include Dave's Creek and the Coomera Circuit.

Great hike this morning to kick-start my first week off work in 12 months.
Headed out to Mount Barney National Park and decided to do the lower portals after a work mate recommended the Cronan Creek Falls trail.
This was a nice easy going trail with a beautiful little swimming hole below the waterfall.
Water was very cold, so didn't stay in for too long.

An absolutely beautiful change of scenery completing the Coastal Track at Noosa National Park.
This one has been in the wish list for a while and it was absolutely stunning!
Easy track with amazing views, along with heaps of birdlife, lizards and even a sea turtle swimming around the rocks.

Early morning sunrise hike at Mount Coolum.
A couple of misty showers and a few clouds, but still a really nice view.
Only a short 34 minute walk at 1.83km return, but it was all stairs.
