Thousands at the rally today in Brisbane-Megandjin in support of the proposed ‘Red Line’ 3 part legislation package which would prevent the government from supporting gen@cide of any kind, anywhere. What excuses will Labor find to deny it? There some great t-shirts (esp the readers, writers snd thinkers tees ehich had fifferrnt text on tge back-available online from avid books) and placards. Watermelons becsme a symbol after use of the Pa….n flag was blocked. Got given an ‘angry woman’ badge - which I happily wore with pride, but the main feelings i felt were deep sadness at what’s happening and joy to be part of such an enlivening gathering. A well organised, very peaceful rally. Thanks to the police for escorting us.
