Our beautiful and brave Haneulato are busy preparing behind the scenes — putting the finishing touches on their traditional attire, rehearsing, preparing their presentations and getting ready to proudly represent their villages and share their culture with you all.

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of them. They have come such a long way throughout this journey, and now the moment is almost here for them to step forward with grace, courage, humility and pride.

🌺 A HEARTFELT THANK YOU | PARADISE RUNWAY 2026 PNG Fashion Week🌺

Although the opportunity came together at short notice, we would like to sincerely thank the organisers of PNG Fashion Week – Paradise Runway 2026, and everyone behind the scenes who helped make it possible for our Haneulato to be part of this wonderful occasion on Saturday, 1 August 2026.

With the invitation coming close to the event, only three of our five Haneulato were able to attend — and we are incredibly proud of Miss Tubusereia Haneulato QLD 2026, Wendy Lohia; Miss Tatana Haneulato QLD 2026, Pauline Vano Solien; and Miss Hanuabada Haneulato QLD 2026, Sisia Reva, who proudly stepped forward to represent the Miss Hiri Hanenamo Queensland 2026 program. 🌺

We would also like to acknowledge our other two Haneulato who unfortunately weren’t in a position to attend at such short notice. We know that if they were able to be there, they absolutely would have been, proudly standing alongside their fellow Haneulato and representing our program and culture.

Thank you for welcoming our young women and giving them the opportunity to experience another platform that celebrates culture, diversity, confidence, fashion and representation.

Opportunities such as these are so valuable for our Haneulato as they continue to grow in confidence, connect with the wider Papua New Guinean and multicultural community, and proudly carry their Motu Koita heritage with them wherever they go.

ABOUT ME

Hi Everyone, my name is Sisia Seraha Reva, and I am proudly from Hanuabada Village.

I come from the Mavara and Kwaradubuna clans on the Laurabada side, Apau on the Lahara side, and the Vahoi Clan of Elevala, known as the Maisi Bore people.

I am 18 years old and currently taking a gap year after graduating from high school last year. I am working while exploring new opportunities and deciding on my future goals.

I am very family-oriented and love spending time with the people closest to me. I also enjoy learning, growing and meeting new people.

WHY I JOINED MHHQ

I joined the Miss Hiri Hanenamo Queensland program to step outside my comfort zone, build my confidence and connect with other young women who share similar values.

I am proud to represent my community, celebrate my culture and deepen my understanding of my heritage while developing valuable skills for my future.

WHAT MY CULTURE MEANS TO ME

My culture is a very important part of who I am. It reminds me of where I come from, the sacrifices my family has made and the importance of staying connected to my roots.

It has taught me the values of respect, kindness, family and community, which I proudly carry with me every day.
