Duration: 6:30pm - 8:30pm (20-minute intermission within this time frame)

General Admission Fee: $20 (preferred payment method is Eventbrite or Cash)

Convenor - Sets up area, explains etiquette/ expectations about privacy, supports social interaction and packs up. Convenor does not provide tutoring

- the event is open to all that wish to participate within the artistic space whether you are a novice or an experienced artist. Notes:
360 degrees viewing of the model
On-street and off-street parking
Wheelchair accessible
Tea, coffee and biscuits provided
Art supplies, drawing boards and paper provided
Split system - heat and cool settings

Hey wonderful people!

It is with a heavy heart that I have to step away from running SDSUD at Hamilton in 2026. I have hopes of reopening down the road, whether at Hamilton or another venue but I am balancing a little too much on my plate right now. I absolutely love and adore the community we built there together ❤

Thursday night was an event I took a lot of pride in and looked forward to each week, and that is due to the amazing people, models, artists and friends I've met along the way...thank you 🎨🙌

Hopefully, I'll meet a few of you out and about at other life drawing nights, a catch up coffee or a walk but until I see you again, all the best for 2026, with a lot of love, farewell 😉

A huge thank you for another fantastic year of life drawing at Hamilton! 🎨😊❤

Just a reminder that there is no event tonight and no events booked for the remainder of the year. I will see you all in 2026 🤠

I appreciate all the love and support, and I'm truly grateful for each and every one of you that make it such a solid community and great experience!

I'll have some Xmas and New Year posts but until then, lots of love ❤✊

Hey everyone,

I'm really excited to open our doors again this week; however, this is likely our last event for 2025. A positive is that we finish the year with Jaiden, who is a wonderful model 🙌😊

I apologize as I would have really liked to run more events during the tail end of the year, but injury and work responsibilities have made that difficult. I look forward to one last draw at Hamilton...our doors will close over the Christmas period (December and January), but I am hopeful to pick it up again in 2026 🎨❤️

Hopefully I will see you all this Thursday night at Hamilton 😊

Hey Legends!

My recovery is going A-Okay but I still need a week, so our doors are closed for Thursday the 6th of November 🎨😥 However, I'm positive we'll be ready to go next week 🥳

We'll have 2 weeks in November, Thursday 13th and Thursday 20th, which is our last for the year 😮...far out, how quick has the year gone but it has been an absolute pleasure to run it for you all and hopefully we'll run it back and go again in 2026! ✊

Thanks for sending through this awesome piece featuring our lovely model last week , it was a great night to wrap up the month of October 💪🎨

Just a heads up to anyone not informed. Hamilton - Sit Down, Shut Up, Draw! is closed for the 23rd of October and the 6th of November as I am having surgery to fix a broken nose. Stay tuned in on the FB page for future updates, if my recovery goes to plan our doors will be open again on the 13th of November 🙂 Hopefully see you all soon 👋

Hey everyone,

Another wonderful night of life drawing last week with Persephone, she put on a great set of challenging poses 🙌 Art by Nosh, flexing her skills at drawing the human form 🎨💪

This week we have Xanthy, who is a superstar so don't miss our last life drawing session for the month...next week our doors are closed while I have surgery to fix the nose 🙃I will be practicing my own sketching at home till our doors are open again in November!

Howdy everyone,
We had a really great week last week sketching Mischa, he absolutely won us over with his challenging poses and positive spirit 🙌 Thanks Mischa!

This week we have Persephone gracing our venue so let's give her a warm welcome tomorrow night 👏 Credit to Tsubasa Photo Studio for the pics, sourced from the Elite Art Models Management website 😊

We have 4 weeks left of life drawing at Hamilton as we are closed over the Christmas break (December and January). The 23rd of October (Thursday) I have surgery to fix my nose 😅 and we don't return till the 13th of November, which means the 16th will be our last chance to draw in October at Hamilton 😥

We had a lovely night of life drawing last week - just a heads up that it is the last Thursday of the month tomorrow, which means our doors are closed in preparation for the Jumble Sale 🙂 We will be on again the first Thursday in October...see you all then 🎨❤

Watching Tony creating art could be cinema, what seems effortless isn't easy to replicate. He is like a calm conductor as he glides the pencil across the page, creating lines that just take beautiful shape and form 🎨 Thanks, Tony, for your tips and for lending me art supplies that continue to bring joy to my own sketching ❤ Thanks to our amazing model Peita, you had amazing poses that were really great to try and capture on paper 🙌
