My husband finally got tired of this sitting around, propped up against the wall "almost finished". So he hung it up. Haven't picked up a paint brush in months. I do hope the desire to paint comes back soon. Have been in the longest lull!

After setting up this afternoon to work on my triptych piece I couldn't get into it. Felt like it was making me colour between the lines and I wasn't feeling that today.

So i coloured outside the lines instead. Some days you have to go where the work takes you!

"The Potter's Garden". I loved creating this little collection. My imagination got stuck on thoughts of walking around a pottery treasure trove, I can't wait to explore this concept in more detail. These are rough, quick, dirty little sketches and I couldn't love their more, because they were the most free I've felt with my creativity for ages.
